The Communications workgroup builds relationships and supports methods of communication and collaboration within and between organizations. We develop, implement, and exercise communication plans. This workgroup and the sub-work groups within it work together with Hawaii VOAD organizations to maintain plans to operate under Blue Sky, Grey Sky, and Black Sky conditions.

Communications Sub Work Groups
The following sub-work groups are organized under the communications workgroup.
- Distribution List. (Handles membership in the main Hawaii State VOAD Google Group used for HI VOAD communications.)
- Radio. (Handles Amateur Radio Communications, Infrastructure, and assists organizations with radio communication plans.)
